E3Z-T61
The Omron E3Z-T series are compact through-beam photoelectric sensors featuring built-in amplifiers, sold as matched emitter/receiver pairs. Models T61/T81 use infrared LED (870 nm) with a 15 m sensing range; T61A/T81A use red LED (660 nm) with a 10 m range; T62/T82 use infrared LED for extended 30 m range (2 ms response); and T66/T66A/T67/T86/T86A/T87 are the M8 connector equivalents of the respective pre-wired models. All variants share a PBT plastic housing (10.8 x 20 x 31 mm), 12–24 VDC supply, 1 ms response time (except T62/T82/T67/T87 at 2 ms), IEC IP67 protection, and Light-ON/Dark-ON selectable operation. NPN models (6x series) and PNP models (8x series) are otherwise specification-identical.
The Omron E3Z-T series are built-in-amplifier through-beam photoelectric sensors sold as matched emitter/receiver pairs in a compact PBT plastic body measuring just 10.8 × 20 × 31 mm. The family covers three sensing distances: the T61/T81 infrared (870 nm) variants reach 15 m, the T61A/T81A red LED (660 nm) variants reach 10 m, and the long-range T62/T82 infrared models extend to 30 m — giving system designers a single mechanical footprint across a wide span of installation geometries. The 660 nm red LED models are the right pick wherever beam alignment must be verified by eye during commissioning, while the 870 nm IR models are preferred where ambient visible light is high or operator distraction is a concern. All variants accept a wide 12–24 VDC supply (±10 %, ripple ≤10 % p-p), making them compatible with both 12 V and 24 V PLC/machine I/O rails without a separate power converter.
