The S85-MH-5-Y03-OOV is a cubic-form-factor laser distance sensor from Datasensing (formerly Datalogic) based on Time-of-Flight technology, capable of measuring distances from 0.2 m to 10 m without a prismatic reflector. It delivers 1 mm resolution, 7 mm accuracy, and 1 mm repeatability, with three selectable response-time modes (fast 15 ms, medium 30 ms, slow 45 ms). The sensor provides two digital switching outputs (NPN/PNP push-pull) and one analog 0–10 V output, configured via push-buttons, and is housed in a die-cast zinc metal enclosure rated IP67.
