daA2448-70uc
The daA2448-70uc is part of Basler's dart R product line, a compact board-level camera designed for embedded and OEM applications. It uses the Sony IMX548 progressive-scan CMOS sensor with a 1/1.8" format and 2.74 µm pixel size, delivering 2448 × 2048 resolution at up to 72.8 fps via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed. The camera features a global shutter for distortion-free capture of moving objects and supports GenICam / USB3 Vision protocols. It is available in bare board (no-mount), S-mount, and CS-mount configurations and consumes approximately 2 W at 5 VDC.
The daA2448-70uc is built around Sony's IMX548 Pregius S global shutter CMOS sensor in a 1/1.8" optical format. At 2448 × 2048 pixels with 2.74 µm pixel pitch, the sensor delivers a true 5 MP image with no spatial sub-sampling. Global shutter means all pixels integrate simultaneously — every frame is captured in a single exposure event with zero rolling-shutter skew, so fast-moving parts, conveyor belts, or robotic end-effectors produce geometrically accurate images without the distortion that would compromise dimensional measurement or code reading. At up to 72.8 fps at full resolution over USB 3.0 SuperSpeed (5 Gbit/s), the camera can service high-throughput lines without requiring frame-rate compromise or resolution binning.
