STC-MBS43POE
The STC-MBS43POE (mono) and STC-MCS43POE (color) are cased GigE Vision area-scan cameras using the 1/2.9" Sony IMX287 global-shutter CMOS sensor at 720 x 540 (0.4 MP) with 6.9 µm pixels, reaching 282.8 fps at full resolution. They connect over Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (IEEE802.3af Class 2, 1000BASE-T) and comply with GigE Vision 2.1, GenICam SFNC 2.4 and IEEE1588 (PTP). The camera accepts PoE or +10.8 to +26.4 VDC external power, uses a C-mount, and measures 29 x 29 x 53 mm at 65 g. It provides opto-isolated trigger I/O plus a GPIO line and an exposure range of 1 µs to 16.777 s.
The Omron Sentech STC-MBS43POE (mono) and STC-MCS43POE (color) are compact cased area-scan cameras built on the 1/2.9" Sony IMX287 global-shutter CMOS, delivering 720 x 540 px (0.4 MP) with relatively large 6.9 x 6.9 µm pixels. That pixel size is the key to this sensor's character: it collects more light per photosite than the small pixels of high-resolution sensors, giving strong sensitivity and clean signal even at short exposures. The global shutter freezes the entire frame in one instant, so parts moving on a conveyor or rotating in a fixture are captured without the skew and smear a rolling shutter would introduce. The trade-off is plainly the resolution. At 0.4 MP this is a low-pixel-count camera, suited to tasks where speed, motion-freezing and signal quality matter far more than fine spatial detail.

A practical, application-first method for selecting an industrial camera: derive resolution from field of view and smallest detail, then match shutter, speed, interface, lens and lighting.
How global and rolling shutters differ, why rolling shutter distorts moving objects, and when each is the right choice for industrial inspection.
How to build a high-speed machine-vision system: balance frame rate against resolution, freeze motion with short exposure and strobe lighting, and size the interface and frame grabber for sustained throughput.
